Will Territory Assistant start charging?

No. We wish to assure you that Territory Assistant is not going away, and there are no plans to start charging. We are commited to keeping the service free for as long as it serves a use to the congregations.

Are you investigating cost saving measures?

Yes. For example, the costs of Google Maps is a large part of the overall expense. To help reduce this expense, we would not remove Google Maps. But, we may search for other ways to reduce the usage, such as changing certain defaults.

You may also recall from the Summer 2023 Update, we made a change to self host our Coding and Ticketing Server. This brought costs associated with that expense down from approximately $700/m to $175/m.

We are reviewing yet other ways to save on costs with running the site.
