Volunteering

We welcome assistance

Are you available to help with Territory Assistant?

Periodically we may have specific needs, or perhaps you may just want to offer to help.

The team currently has about 15 volunteers, all with differing skill sets and availability.

Right now we are in particular need of developers.

How can you do so?
  • You can start by contacting us through the Contact Us page.
How much time is required?
  • Everyone working with TA right now are volunteers, so there are no hard requirements.
  • Some are able to do about 1-2 hours a week. Some do much more.
  • Consistency is helpful.
  • Every little bit helps.
How can I help with support tickets?
  • Each support ticket represents a request and a need by a congregation.
  • The amount we receive varies, but as of 4/12/23, it can easily be 20-50 a week.
  • The largest challenge with support tickets is the time it takes for follow ups and walk-throughs.
  • The need right now is for those familiar with, or willing to learn, how to use Territory Assistant.
How can I help with Development?
  • Languages we use include React, TypeScript, C#, and Flutter.
  • We also use tools such as Linux, Git, Docker, and VSCode.
  • The infrastructure runs on Kubernetes.
  • If you have experience in any of these technologies, we welcome any time you can spare.
